150 pets taken, hidden in Tiruvallur village

CHENNAI: Close to 150 pets were discovered hidden at Thamaraipakkam town in Tiruvallur region on Weekend. While five pets were taken on Weekend, the rest were taken over the past few days, according to the Red Combination of Indian. An FIR has been registered against panchayat chief executive J Venkatesan, who supposedly employed six men, two to capture and four to hide the pets. 

A citizen of the town who saw two men capturing five pets on Weekend informed Red Combination volunteers after which an research was held. It exposed the capturing of pets had been occurring for a while. "We discovered nearly 150 pets in superficial burial plots. Citizens said some were tossed into a stream close by. A few children exposed me the place where the pets were hidden," said Beginning Williams, gm, Red Combination, Chennai.
